Gallery Scholarship for the 2018-19 Year

What is the future of art? And what does it mean for galleries and artists?

GALLERY KARIN CARTON artist mentoring program

Dear  Students,

My name is Karin Carton. I have been in the art industry for more than 30 years. My love for art started when I was really young. It started with my mom, in France. However, it is really at school that I was able to develop my talent.

I know that being a student is not necessarily easy. You don’t know where to start. You don’t really have that much money. Similarly, young artists are building on their network connection. And are refining their talent.

The gallery already started an artist mentoring program.  In order to help promote young talents. But I want to do more.

After consulting with my advisory board, they agreed. We can do more!

That’s why I am excited to announce our gallery annual $300 scholarship. It is not much I realize that. But it is something. And it is also a good way to promote yourself to our network. The scholarship is available to college students of all majors who answer the question:

What is the future of art? And what does it mean for galleries and artists?

My board and I will select one student to receive $300 in scholarship funds. The criteria are originality and relevance.

Moreover, I have very excited to hear the student’s reaction on the phone when we tell them that she/he won!

In conclusion, thank you so much for being part of the art community!

I really hope you can participate!

With much love,

Karin Carton
